Assistant Manager, Finance

Job Description:

  • Provide various analysis reports for management’s review and provide support to the team
  • Prepare accounting entries to the general ledger system for EDD desks on a daily/monthly basis
  • Prepare reconciliation for bank accounts, broker accounts and aging analysis for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Perform reconciliation for outstanding investment position for EDD desks with Middle Office
  • Responsible for the classification and of vanilla and structured EDD products, including ETF, Delta One Product, Options, Warrants/CBBCs & ELN and discussed their valuation methodology with Front Office and Risk Department
  • Prepare monthly EDD segment PnL and reconcile with Middle Office
  • Coordinate or formulate control policies and procedures on EDD products
  • Support new business initiatives and design P&L reporting for new products
  • Liaise with trading desk or middle office to resolve ad hoc issues (such as trade booking and verifications)
  • Participate in new system implementation and project management
  • Any ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor


We support local hire with solid relevant working experience in HK.

  • Degree holder in finance, accounting or related field preferably with CFA/CPA qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in investment banks/financial institutions
  • Excellent in MS Excel and VBA is required; experience on Front Arena system and programming skill will be an advantage
  • Familiar with fair value accounting and sound knowledge on various EDD products
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese including fluency in Putonghua
